Why I chose PSTP
When entering medical school, I hoped to continue to develop my research skills at the intersection of medicine and engineering. Although many schools offered the option to take a year off to conduct independent research, I chose the PSTP because it uniquely offered a comprehensive curriculum to help prepare me for a career in academic medicine.
