Sahana Krishna Kumaran, a research year student in the PSTP, recently won a poster award for outstanding scientific research at the Pittsburgh International Lung Conference. Sahana’s project was titled “Mitochondrial complex dysregulation and integrated stress response signaling are present in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.” Her work was conducted under the mentor ship of Corrine Kliment, MD, PhD.
