The research year work of MS4 Akanksha Chilukuri and PSTP alum Stephanie Casillo was recently published in the journal Cell Reports. Akanksha and Stephanie’s paper elucidated metabolic vulnerabilities in H3K27M mutant gliomas. They conducted their PSTP research years under the mentorship of Sameer Agnihotri, PhD at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Their publication is titled "An ERK5-PFKFB3 axis regulates glycolysis and represents a therapeutic vulnerability in pediatric diffuse midline glioma."
