The Neurosurgery Research & Education Foundation (NREF) has awarded the Medical Student Summer Research Fellowship (MSSRF) Best Abstract Award to PSTP research year student Wenjing (Lilly) Tang and her project, “Deep Brain Stimulation of the Motor Thalamus for Swallowing and Speech Restoration in Stroke Patients.” She will be delivering a talk on her project at the 2025 American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting in Boston, MA.
