Caroline Smith, a current research year student, was selected for both an oral presentation and the President’s Presenter Award at the Society for Reproductive Investigation 71st Annual Scientific Meeting, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her presentation is titled, “Activin A Persists in Maternal Serum in the Postpartum Period Suggesting an Active Role in Persistent Hypertension Following a HDP.”
“I am elated to attend this conference and present my research. It will be an amazing experience to get feedback on my work from such a large audience and network with experts in the field.”
Caroline is spending her research year with Christina Megli, MD, PhD and have collaborated with Alisse Hauspurg, MD for her clinical expertise on this project.
