Carina Sclafani Receives R01 NIH Diversity Supplement

Carina Sclafani

The PSTP is thrilled to announce that research year student, Carina Sclafani, was recently awarded a National Cancer Institute R01 Diversity Supplement.  Carina’s project is titled “The Impact of ATR Kinase Inhibitors on CD8+ T Cell Expansion and Memory Development.”  She is conducting her research year work in the lab of Chris Bakkenist, PhD.

I’m really excited to be working on a project that is studying new cancer therapeutics, how they impact the immune response, and how we may use this new knowledge to optimize the use of ATR inhibitors in preclinical and clinical trials.

Congratulations, Carina!!
